Twenty in Twelve – Week 1 Results

I wanted to thank all of my followers for their support while I worked to lose almost 10 pounds in just under 7 weeks in preparation for my trip to Cancun.  We ate and we drank and we had a great time.  But we also worked out every day and drank our Shakeology without fail.

The scale was up several pounds when I came back, thanks mostly to sodium bloat and airplane travel, but I completely dialed in my nutrition, was consistent with my workouts, and within 2 days was back to the weight I was the day I left.  How many people do you know that go on vacation, go crazy and gain 7-10 pounds in one week, and then spend the next 3 months trying to lose it?

That used to be me, but not anymore! 🙂

Now I need a new goal to work on.

My next Beachbody event coming up is July 15th so that gives me 12 weeks. I figure at a pound and a half a week I can lose 20# by that time.  Will I hit that goal?  I don’t know, but I’m going to go for it.  And putting it out there publicly helps keep my accountable.  Stay tuned for updates from me.
