WHAT? Yep – you heard me. So many people get fed up enough to start their diet…so they go hard at it. They drastically reduce their calories and they exercise a lot. And a week later they check their measurements and the scale and they haven’t lost any weight. WTH! If you want to lose weight you need to eat enough calories to fuel your workouts, but not too many that you gain. The 21 Day Fix program has shown me the way to eat not only the right range of calories…but the right mix of foods…without endlessly counting points or calories. And I am slowly, safely dropping the weight.
The food pictured here was what I ate yesterday, in addition to getting my 30 minute workout and 10 minute abs workout. Doesn’t it seem like a lot of food? And it was delicious too!
The more you have to lose, the more you should lose in the beginning, but I am “fairly” close to my goal weight so it’s not coming off in droves…but it is coming off. And I don’t feel like I’m having to excessively exercise, or that I’m starving myself to achieve these results.
